This week they asked:

Tell us about your first concert.  Who did you see?  Who did you go with? Did you enjoy it? Have you seen that band/artist again in concert?

My first concert was in 10th grade at Hofstra University. It was 1983 and I saw The B-52’s!  The Ramones opened for them. My group of girls wanted to see the B-52’s and the guys I was friends with wanted to see The Ramones. By the end of the amazing concert, we had all fell in love with each others bands and converted!

I have since seen The B-52’s in concert MANY times. And, 4 years ago, the B-52’s held a free concert at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York and I took my daughters to see them. The B-52’s were their first concert also! I still have all their albums and a bunch of Ramones tapes as well. (They still work!)

What was your first concert? Who did you see?  Who did you go with? Did you enjoy it? Have you seen that band/artist again in concert?
